Joanne has been attending the Salvation Army’s Estate and Charitable Gift Planning Institute for many years. She is an enthusiastic advocate for the Army’s mission.

As a specialist certified by the Ohio State Bar Association in estate planning, trust and probate law, she takes any opportunity to discuss charitable giving with her clients and is happy to discuss charitable gifts or bequests with potential donors. Her practice also includes preparation of individual taxes which is a necessary planning tool for making donations over a lifetime.

To keep current in the changing landscape of estate planning, Joanne actively participates in the Toledo Bar Association’s real estate, elder law, and probate committees, the Ohio State Bar Association’s elder law and probate committees, the Ohio State Bar Association’s real estate committee, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Since many of her clients are veterans, she has become certified by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs to advise on veteran’s benefits.
