Boyer, Arthur & Betty

Arthur came to know The Salvation Army during World War II. He landed on Omaha Beach six days after D-Day and spent the next 14 months serving our country overseas. The Salvation Army delivered critical supplies to Arthur and his friends faster than any other relief organization. For his service, he was awarded two bronze stars and a Purple Heart. Active members in their church, Arthur and his wife, Betty, were married for over 65 years. Through their gift, the Boyers want to help people in Canton, Ohio, because they have seen the good work is done there by The Salvation Army.
