Since the late 1990’s, Nancy was an advocate of The Salvation Army because she believed her money went to a good, worthy cause. Active in her community, Nancy helped start a women’s fastpitch softball team in Oberlin. Some of her other charitable interests included Habitat for Humanity and the Oasis Animal Shelter. Nancy established an endowment fund for The Salvation Army via the Lorain County Community Foundation. Her hope was always that her gift would help others get a hand-up in life.
