Parks, John and Mary Ruth

The Parks have been advocates of The Salvation Army since the late 1980’s, when they became very involved with local food drives. John conducted a food drive for The Salvation Army while working as a mailman, after serving in the Army Air Force from 1942-1945. Mary Ruth worked for a thoracic surgeon. In addition to supporting The Salvation Army, they also volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Through their gift the Parks hope to help with feeding programs and emergency assistance in the Lorain, Ohio area.
